Simone has been providing private tuition for Key Stage 1 and 2 children for over 7 years. Weekly 'Art Club' sessions are based at her home in West London.

Students work in small groups (maximum 4) where they learn how to look, draw, paint and experiment in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Creative play and experimentation is fundamental for children's development and mental well being. Students have full access to a wide variety of materials and mediums and are encouraged to enjoy expressing themselves. Sessions are based around a variety of topics including: sketchbook work, still life, composition, mark making, sketching, life drawing, self portraits, colour studies, artist inspired work, independent projects & outdoor sketching (during Summer Term).

Weekly 90 minute sessions available for:

• Key Stage 2: 8yrs - 11 yrs

• Key Stage 3: 12yrs - 16 yrs

• Cost £30 per session, per child. This includes all art materials.

We also love getting inspiration from other artists & enjoy visiting exhibitions & galleries. London based day trips are also available during school holidays.

Working in Higher education for 20 years, Simone is able to offer comprehensive advice for UCAS applications and BTEC courses in all areas of Art & Design. Individual 90 minute portfolio sessions are available for students aged 16+ who are interested in furthering their art education or applying to further & higher education courses. These sessions can be tailor made & can include:

• Direction with course selection & UCAS applications

• Assistance in selecting appropriate creative work for portfolio inclusion, suitable for your chosen course

• Guidance in developing additional creative work to develop a full & comprehensive portfolio

• Portfolio presentation skills

• Support with writing UCAS Personal Statement

• Interview and communication skills
