A simple collection of mark making & abstraction. Inspired by textured landscapes & the natural beauty of our world observed from above.

Simone’s research for ‘Aerial’ initially focussed on observing and documenting aerial photography. These ideas were then developed and taken in to the print room workshop.

Print processes - mono printing and screen printing were utilised onto a variety of paper substrates, combined with collage and subtle colour work.

Further development with exploring scale and placement of image were integral to Simone’s final collection.

'Aerial' digital reproductions are available on request and will form part of an upcoming exhibition of Simone’s work in 2022.
